Once again, another post of the newly created art poster for the market which will be an Anime and Manga Market on October 5th (Saturday) and 6th (Sunday) from 9am - 4pm at Swan Valley, 124 Lennard St, Herne Hill WA 6056.

I’ve been working hard to create prints/posters and beanies, and if you would like to have your portrait done in my Manga art style, I will have a small station set up at my stall for Caricature drawing.

For this particular art piece, I wanted to create a Ruby jewelled like statue and creating a slight holographic effect. I think it turned out better than expected 😂

This took me quite a while to draw up as I’ve never done an ink art piece quite like this one (an ink page you’ll see in a Manga) but I’m really proud of the progress I made.
The environment I wanted to feature is a futuristic city from an alternative universe via exploring the idea of mixed Asian temple structures (mostly referencing to Japanese temples) to be present within the city culture - The idea stemmed from Tekkonkinkreet, Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Alita, and of course Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. I still wanted the view to come from a frozen lake, just to say that there’s still nature present in this ever developed world.

Also, I know it’s early, but this is also for my InkOctober art piece :P
